Meal Provisions- Interim Housing on Leland

Who We Are

Sarah's Circle provides nourishing, home-cooked meals to women experiencing homelessness and housing instability as part of our mission to support their journey toward permanent housing and greater well-being. Shared meals create a welcoming community where our participants can gather, connect, and enjoy nutritious food prepared with care by dedicated volunteers.

What We Do

Meal Provisions volunteers at our Interim Housing program help provide nutritious meals for approximately 50 women. Volunteer groups may prepare and serve a meal in our commercial kitchen, cook at home and drop it off, or purchase a meal for delivery.

If you'd like to cook at home and drop off, or order a meal for delivery, we kindly ask that breakfast arrives by 8:30am, lunch by 11:30am, and dinner for 4:30pm.

Volunteer groups are responsible for the planning of the menu and providing all food ingredients, while Sarah's Circle supplies all of the cookware, utensils, cooking oil, and basic spices.

Only seven volunteers may prepare food in the kitchen at one time, and all food preparation volunteers are required to wear the hair nets and gloves provided by Sarah's Circle.

If you have any questions, please contact Linda, our Volunteer & Development Associate at volunteer@sarahs-circle.org.
